1. Scope of Services

Straetum LLC, through its websites qurban.io (English), qurban.fr (French), and qurban.me (Arabic), provides a delegation service for the following Islamic ritual acts:

  • Eid al-Adha Qurbān (Udhiyah)
  • ʿAqīqah (newborn sacrifice)
  • Ṣadaqah (voluntary animal sacrifice)

By purchasing, the customer appoints Straetum LLC as their agent (wakīl) to perform the ritual sacrifice in accordance with Islamic principles.

2. What You Receive

When placing an order, you:

  • Delegate us to perform the sacrifice on your behalf.
  • Authorize us to mention the name you provide at the time of slaughter:
    “Bismillāh Allāhu Akbar, on behalf of Client Name”.
  • Understand that the meat is distributed to underprivileged Muslim communities, often feeding 15-25 people per sheep.
  • Receive video documentation of your sacrifice, typically within a few days of execution.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices include animal sourcing, slaughter, video documentation, meat distribution, and logistics.
  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe, PayPal, or other authorized methods.
  • Orders are only confirmed after full payment is received.
  • No additional charges apply post-payment unless otherwise stated.

4. Fulfillment Timeline

  • Eid al-Adha: Sacrifices are performed within the official days of Eid (10th-13th Dhul Hijjah).
  • ʿAqīqah / Ṣadaqah: Typically completed within 3-7 business days.
  • Customers receive a personalized video confirming:
    • The name stated at the time of sacrifice
    • The animal slaughtered
    • (Where possible) the meat being distributed

5. Religious Standards

All sacrifices comply with Islamic requirements:

  • Slaughtered by qualified Muslims.
  • Performed with a sharp blade and humane methods.
  • Tasmiyah and Takbīr are recited.
  • Animals meet Islamic criteria (age, health, species).

6. Refund Policy

  • No refunds once the sacrifice has been carried out.
  • Full or partial refunds may apply if:
    • The service cannot be performed due to unforeseen events (e.g., animal shortages, emergencies).
    • A delay exceeds 15 days (except during Eid when global backlog may affect delivery).

Straetum LLC will propose:

  • A full refund,
  • Postponement,
  • Or redirection to another region (with consent).

7. Customer Responsibilities

You must:

  • Provide the correct name to be pronounced during the ritual.
  • Confirm the intended type of sacrifice (Qurbān, ʿAqīqah, Ṣadaqah).
  • Avoid requesting acts that violate Islamic law or mislead the religious purpose of the service.

8. Use of Personal Data

  • Your personal data is used only to fulfill your order.
  • Your video is private and confidential, shared only with you, unless you authorize public sharing.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.

9. Legal Liability

Straetum LLC is not responsible for:

  • Delays due to natural disasters, political disruptions, or third-party logistics failures.
  • Misspellings or mispronunciations due to unclear or incorrect customer inputs.
  • Minor deviations in the sacrifice video that do not affect the ritual validity.

10. Applicable Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.

In case of conflict:

  1. Both parties agree to attempt resolution amicably.
  2. Failing this, disputes may be submitted to arbitration or mediation in Sheridan County, WY.

11. Acceptance

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You understand and agree to delegate the sacrifice to Straetum LLC.
  • You accept the religious and logistical framework described.
  • You agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
